Air Panama has introduced flights between David and Bocas del Toro on Mondays and Fridays.
The route gives advisors an easier way to combine Boquete and the Bocas del Toro archipelago when guest dates align with the schedule.
Previously, travelling between the two regions meant a lengthy overland transfer. The flight allows clients to leave the Chiriquí highlands and reach the Caribbean coast without losing several hours on the road.
It is especially useful for guests with a limited number of nights or those who want to combine Boquete’s coffee farms and mountain setting with time on the water in Bocas del Toro.
The twice-weekly schedule requires careful planning, but when the dates work, it saves clients several hours on the road.
Panama Curated: New Local Design & Craft Shopping in Panama City
Panama Curated is a private art and design experience built around Panamanian craft, contemporary design, cacao, and food.
The day begins at the Balboa Handicraft Market, where guests can browse molas, beadwork, baskets, textiles, and other pieces made by local artisans. From there, they visit MODART Design Collection for a look at contemporary Panamanian fashion, homeware, and design.
At Oro Moreno, guests taste chocolate made with Panamanian cacao before sitting down to lunch at a selected local restaurant.
Private transportation, a bilingual guide, the market and design-store visits, the chocolate tasting, lunch, and a Panama Curated tote are included. Shopping opportunities are available throughout the experience.
This works well for guests who enjoy design and craftsmanship or who want more context than they would get from visiting a souvenir shop on their own. The appeal is not simply what they can buy, but the chance to see traditional craft and contemporary Panamanian design side by side.
A New Upgraded El Valle de Antón Picnic
The upgraded picnic in El Valle de Antón is now available as an optional add-on to any of our experiences in the valley. Add it to your guests’ day for a curated picnic stop between activities.
Set within the surrounding volcanic landscape, it can be arranged after a morning of hiking, cycling, or exploring the area’s markets and cultural sites. It gives clients time to stop for an outdoor meal rather than moving directly to the next activity.
