Here’s what’s new across the Panama Trails portfolio — from updated rooms in the highlands to new ways to spend time on the water.
Hotel Panamonte has been part of Boquete’s coffee highlands for over a century. A new collection of Deluxe Rooms and Exclusive Suites introduces more contemporary interiors while keeping the property’s original structure intact. For guests exploring coffee farms, cloud forest trails, and Boquete’s gardens, it remains a convenient base — now with updated rooms to match.
A curated set of private yacht charters is now available in the Pearl Archipelago, including Mogo Mogo and Taboga. Easy to reach from Panama City, these trips offer a day or overnight on the water, with stops at quiet beaches and time to swim or snorkel away from the main routes.
A new transparent-hull boat allows guests to view Caribbean reef systems without getting in the water — watching fish and coral pass directly beneath their feet. A strong fit for families or guests who prefer a more relaxed pace.
Panama Trails is launching a dedicated golf portfolio across Panama City, the Pacific Riviera, and the Chiriquí Highlands, including courses such as Santa Maria, Buenaventura, and Lucero. These can be paired with city, beach, or highland stays to build trips around golf while still incorporating other parts of the country.
All domestic flights to Bocas del Toro or David booked through Panama Trails now include VIP Club access at Albrook Airport. It’s a small detail, but one guests notice.
Designing Elevated Moments
If any of these updates fit a guest you’re currently planning for, the Panama Trails team can help you shape the itinerary.
