If you plan a trip to the Gulf of Chiriqui in Panama, getting there is easy and accessible via Panama City. There are a few options to choose from:

Getting here by air: The fastest and most convenient option is to fly to Enrique Malek International Airport (DAV) in David from Panama City. You can drive to Boca Chica or Boquete for an hour from there. 

If you’re visiting Boquete first, you can drive from Boquete to Boca Chica, which takes approximately 2 hours.

Once you’re at the dock at Boca Chica, it’s a 20-minute boat ride to Isla Palenque and a 1-hour boat ride to Isla Secas.

Getting here with a Private charter: If you’re interested in visiting Isla Secas, private charters are available with a 1-hour flight departing from a private terminal near Tocumen airport.

 

Combing From Other Destinations: 

If you want to combine your Gulf of Chiriqui trip with other destinations in Panama, popular options include Boquete, Bocas del Toro, Santa Catalina, and Costa Rica.

 

Arriving from Costa Rica:
